Terry Pratchett
Interview
I had the chance to interview Sir
Terry Pratchett at the 2004 WorldCon
in Boston. I turned this interview into a feature
article for the January 2005 issue of Amazing
Stories. But now, I can put the
entire interview up online for you, my fans.
There are some wonderful Pratchett gems in here.
Talking with my favorite author was just like
reading one of his books: Funny beyond belief.

the full interview right here.
The
Spirit of Thanksgiving

The latest in my string of sermons that delve
into the real history of modern rituals and
holidays, this one looks at a shining moment in
the history of our relations with Native
Americans. The Pilgrims actually got it right
(for a while), and I submit that we should
finally learn this 400-year-old lesson of how to
treat our fellow man and give thanks to the
Pilgrims for showing us how. Read
the Sermon.
